Job Description:

Harvey Air Balancing, LLC provides certified HVAC Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Services to our clients.  We are Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB) certified contractors serving the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States.

Our certifications are in air and hydronic testing and balancing, commissioning of HVAC systems, duct air leakage testing, sound and vibration, indoor air quality, and kitchen hood ventilation services.

When you work for us, you will be trained and equipped to handle a variety of tasks.  Our three main divisions within our company are Air and Hydronic Balancing, HVAC Commissioning and Kitchen Hood Ventilation Service.

Our positions include:

• Sales, Assistant Technician
• Lead Balance Technician
• Balancing Supervisor
• Commissioning Agent
• Kitchen Hood Assistant or Supervisor.

The primary responsibilities include conducting HVAC TAB to ensure optimal performance, and commissioning of these systems to meet industry standards. These rolls also involves detailed data analysis, report generation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Pass a background and 10-panel drug test
• Own dependable transportation and have a clean driving record
• Integrity and dependability is an absolute must
• Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge
• Great communications skills: in person, on the phone, and/or in typed correspondence
• Have a background in the commercial HVAC field (controls, TAB, HVAC technician)
• Any certificates from TABB, NEBB or AABC (recommended, not required)
• Ability to occasionally work out of town
• Ability to stand for long periods, work off of ladders, lifts and scaffolding, lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits of Working at Harvey Air Balancing:
